Another beach inspired painting.  This one evokes feelings of numbers on boats and peeling paint of small wooden vessels on the sea shore.  I love to wander along the sea front at Budleigh Salterton and look at the many fishing boats lying on the pebble beach. 
 
An original mixed media painting using collage, paint, oil pastel and acrylic markers.
The artwork is built up using many different layers to create texture and interest.  A process which develops and changes over several sessions, until I'm completely happy with the end result.
