A beautiful, calm and serene painting. Capturing the soft colours of Summer with those heavy, warm skies.
My garden is such an important part of my life, so transposing those feelings I get when I'm there, into paintings, seemed an obvious choice. 
 
An original mixed media painting using collage, paint, oil pastel and acrylic markers.
The artwork is built up using many different layers to create texture and interest.  A process which develops and changes over several sessions, until I'm completely happy with the end result.
